Foresight: a generative AI model of patient trajectories across the COVID-19 pandemic

Scaling Foresight (Kraljevic et al. 2022), a generative pre-trained transformer (GPT) model trained from scratch on EHR codes to the population of 57 million contained within the NHS England Secure Data Environment (SDE) accessed via the British Heart Foundation Data Science Centre’s CVD-COVID-IMPACT consortium.
